Today, ministry at Trout Lake happens through relationships, which are built one conversation at a time. The new dining hall will utilize round tables, fostering more conversation, relationships and ministry among campers.

New equipment and maximized space will boost the productivity of the kitchen staff, meaning tasty food can be served to twice as many people in half the time.

The dining hall serves as a gathering space al day long, with four fireplaces and cozy nooks to allow intimate coffee-shop conversations.

Ministry at Trout extends beyond campers and includes summer staff as well. Kitchen equipment and layout were designed to make an incredible work area and foster better communication and relationships in the kitchen.

The kitchen goes green with a high efficiency dishwasher that uses less energy and less water, plus kicks the costly habit of disposable dishes.

Dining Area - 4,896 sq. ft.
Serving Area - 1,512 sq. ft.
Kitchen Area - 1,620 sq. ft.
Misc (storage, restrooms, etc.) - 2,032 sq. ft.

Note: There is an additional 8,000 square feet of unfinished space for future expansion.
